Our final destination on this trip is Kuala Lumpur, and we have a short connection in Singapore for this quick flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur.

Singapore Airlines serves this route with their regional Boeing 777-200 aircraft, but have reduced their frequencies to allow SilkAir to increase service on this route.

The Boeing 777-200 is configured with two classes of service, and today, all of us are ticketed in Business Class. Since my connecting flight was on Singapore Airlines, I had my boarding pass issued on SQ stock.
Alex and Liz connected from an ANA flight, with their boarding passes issued by ANA in Tokyo where we originated.
The regional configured 777-200 is used through-out Asia by Singapore Airlines, and the recliner seats are quite comfortable for the relatively short flights.
The pairs of Business class seats along the side of the fuselage is probably the best, especially this bulkhead row.
Pre-departure drinks are served quickly. For today's flight, we choose the most unique seat in this cabin, the first row of the middle section where there is only two seats. The rest of the middle rows have three seats, so the middle person has to climb to the aisle.
This first row in the middle is the bassinet position, luckily there are no infants on this flights in Business class.
The flight is quite empty in Business class, perhaps one of the reasons that Singapore Airlines decided to reduce frequency.
Passenger load is only about 25% on our flight. The replacement SilkAir Airbus A320s have 16 First class seats, more than enough to handle the reduced demand.
With such an empty cabin, every passenger have plenty of space to stretch out, and use the adjacent empty seat for their belongings.
The flight was busy prepare for departure, and we did not invite ourselves to visit the cockpit this time.
As soon as we reach altitude, the meal table was set for a quick snack.
Snack choices are chicken or pastrami pita bread pocket sandwiches.
